(a) The National Digitized Environmental Information System is hereby established, to be under the responsibility and direction of the Environmental Quality Board. Then objective of this System is to gather, organize, and make available to the public, through electronic media, technical, educational, and scientific information, in existence or to be generated, about subjects relative to the environment and the natural resources, of both renewable and nonrenewable resources.\n(b) The information contained in the National Digitized Environmental Information System shall be freely consulted and accessible. Such System shall keep a constantly updated bibliography of the information contained therein, which shall be available to System users.\nHistory —Sept. 22, 2004, No. 416, § 23, eff. 6 months after Sept. 22, 2004.
