The 'Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Environmental Trust Fund' is hereby created in the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico. The Environmental Quality Board shall be the trustee of such Fund, in order to carry out the purposes and objectives sought by this chapter. The Fund is hereby authorized to pay for the administrative expenses charged by the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico. To that effect, any funds from private sources deposited into the Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Environmental Trust Fund, as well as any funds generated by the Environmental Quality Board in its sole discretion, covered into the Special Account Set for the Environmental Quality Board, and any other public or private funds.
