The motif of the day observed shall be to highlight, but not be limited to, the promotion of environmentally low-impact lifestyles and consumer habits; the modification of negative environmental behavior; how to compute, monitor, and minimize our ecological footprint; the development and application of sustainable development indicators; the sustainable development philosophy under the terms established in Agenda 21; environmental degradation and pollution prevention; and the development of sustainable communities, as defined in this chapter, among others.
