Any private sector entity that employs eleven (11) or more persons shall have the following obligations:\n(a) Establish a recycling, reuse or refurbishing program for any electronic or cellular telephone equipment used to carry out its operations in Puerto Rico in compliance with §§ 8001 et seq. of this title, known as the 'Environmental Public Policy Act', and with §§ 1320 et seq. of this title, known as the 'Puerto Rico Solid Waste Reduction and Recycling Act', and\n(b) electronically file an annual report with the Authority, pursuant to regulations, attesting to the mechanisms used for electronic and telephone equipment recycling, reuse, and refurbishing.\nHistory —Jan. 17, 2012, No. 18, § 4.01, eff. 120 days after Jan. 17, 2012.
