(a) The Housing Development and Improvements Administration is transferred to the Department of Housing to function under the direction and supervision of the Secretary of Housing and under the name of Housing Development and Improvements Administration of the Department of Housing.(b) The Secretary of Housing shall have the power to appoint the Executive Director of the Housing Development and Improvements Administration for a term of four (4) years, unless sooner removed by the Secretary, and who shall receive the compensation he is at present receiving.
