The amount of the taxes corresponding to the parcels freed in accordance with § 557 of this title shall continue to encumber, and the Secretary of the Treasury of Puerto Rico shall make them effective on, the rest of the main properties after the segregations have been made in favor of the Land Authority of Puerto Rico.
