The Executive Director of the Land Authority of Puerto Rico, or his legally authorized representative, shall notify the Secretary of the Treasury of Puerto Rico of the acquisition of said parcels and of the purpose to which the same are to be devoted, so that the Secretary of the Treasury may have knowledge of the liberation provided for by §§ 557—561 of this title.
