Any person who shall knowingly violate the provisions of §§ 612—616 of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction be subject to a fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty dollars ($250), or one-day imprisonment for each dollar he may fail to pay.
