The Commonwealth Emergency Management and Disaster Administration Agency shall coordinate the efforts of the Government of Puerto Rico with respect to search and rescue operations. It shall also coordinate its efforts with federal entities or with those of any other nature having search and rescue functions.The Executive Director shall appoint a Search and Rescue Coordinator for Puerto Rico, who shall develop said programs, including the Search and Rescue Task Force.
