(a) The Government of Puerto Rico Volunteer Chaplain Corps is hereby created in order to provide the people of Puerto Rico with volunteer services consisting of spiritual guidance and counselling during any emergency and crisis in an organized manner and coordinated by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Emergency Management and Disaster Administration Agency (AEMEAD, Spanish acronym).(b) The Government of Puerto Rico Volunteer Chaplain Corps shall be attached to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Emergency Management and Disaster Administration Agency.
