The Commonwealth Emergency Management Administration Agency, in coordination with the Department of Natural Resources, the Environmental Quality Board, the Department of Transportation and Public Works, the Planning Board and the Mayagüez Campus shall develop and implement a Landslides Risk Mitigation Protocol.The Commonwealth Agency shall be responsible for the first instance follow-up of the work initiated with respect to the landslides risk mitigation plans. For such purposes, it shall be empowered to adopt rules and regulations to oversee compliance with the purpose of this chapter.It shall also render a report to the Legislature on the creation and implementation of the Protocol not later than six (6) months as of the approval of this act.
