(a) Any person operating a private detective school without being authorized by the Superintendent shall incur in a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500).(b) Any person authorized to operate such a school who violates the provisions of the regulations promulgated by the Superintendent to that effect shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100).
