Any person obliged to comply with the requirements established by this chapter may request a modification thereof from the Permit Management Office. The Permit Management Office may authorize modifications only in those cases where it is shown that the existing installations, or other alternate methods, installed or provided in the buildings or their areas, substantially comply with the purposes of this chapter and the applicable regulations. Every petition for modification must be resolved within ninety (90) days following the date of its presentation.
