Any officer whose functions comprise the handling and custody of funds or property who resigns therefrom without having first submitted a correct liquidation of his accounts may, in the discretion of the Adjutant General, be released from his post and retained as supernumerary pending liquidation and approval of such accounts.\nHistory —June 23, 1969, No. 62, p. 117, § 217, eff. 90 days after June 23, 1969.
