To expedite the implementation of this chapter, all professional associations duly organized in Puerto Rico whose membership is mandatory to practice a profession or trade and which entails the payment of mandatory membership fees, or the obligation to fill certain forms, or file reports or meet the requirement of a certain number of credits within a specific time span, are hereby authorized to adopt any regulations that are necessary to grant the benefits provided herein and to inform the citizenry on the availability of said benefits. Likewise, every Board of Examiners or Professional Association of a regulated profession or trade shall adopt the necessary regulations for the exemptions provided in this chapter to be taken into account during license renewal or continuing education requirement processes, as provided for their profession or trade.\nHistory —Jan. 20, 2010, No. 8, § 9.
