The Department of Health and the Department of Labor and Human Resources are hereby authorized, with the approval of the Governor, to enter into agreements with the federal government, states, interstate agencies, territories or possessions of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Panama Canal Zone whereby the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico may perform, in cooperation with any of them, inspections or other functions related with the control of sources of ionizing radiation.
