Any person violating any provision of this chapter or of the rules, regulations or orders issued by the Commission, the Department of Health or the Department of Labor and Human Resources shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction punished by a fine of not less than one hundred [dollars] ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by imprisonment for a term of not less than three (3) nor more than six (6) months, or both, in the discretion of the court.
