In such case the Municipal Director of Charities and all employees under him shall cooperate with the Secretary of Health, under the direction of the latter, in the extinction of such epidemic.The Governor of Puerto Rico, on recommendation of the Secretary of Health, may suspend any Commonwealth or municipal officer or employee who may be negligent in the performance of his duties in municipalities affected by any epidemic, during all the time that the epidemic may last, unless such suspension shall sooner be revoked by the same authorities by whom it was ordered.
