For the purposes of §§ 921—929 of this title, by the word 'tuberculin' shall be understood a product prepared through the sterilization, filtration, and concentration of the liquid in which a culture of tuberculosis bacilli has been developed and which contains the metabolic product resulting from the growth and multiplication of the germs of tuberculosis, excluding the bacterial mass; the application of which, when properly done, causes no harm to healthy cattle. This substance, when cattle infected with tuberculosis are inoculated, will develop a typical reaction that will show that the animal in question is suffering from tuberculosis.The word 'veterinarian', as used in §§ 921—929 of this title, shall refer to any person authorized by law to practice veterinary medicine in the Commonwealth.
