(a) No practitioner’s or medical order or prescription shall be necessary for the sale at wholesale of the dangerous drugs or barbiturates referred to in §§ 930—949 of this title by manufacturers, vendors and wholesalers to pharmacists, pharmacies, hospitals, medical centers, physicians, dentists and veterinarians.(b) No medical or practitioner’s order or prescription shall be necessary for the sale among pharmacists. The invoices or vouchers representing these transactions shall be kept for a period of two (2) years, as prescribed by subsections (b) and (c) of § 938 of this title.
