For purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meaning set forth below:\n(a) Information material.— Means any brochure, pamphlet, videotape, or handout that details the importance of preventing lead poisoning.\n(b) Media.— Means any mechanism that can be used for the dissemination of advertisements including, but not limited to, radio, television, video, daily, weekly, or monthly newspapers, magazines, brochures, posters, and others.\n(c) Pediatrician.— Means the health professional recognized to assess the growth and development of all infants, children, and adolescents, under appropriate practices, as defined by the American Academy of Pediatrics and that is authorized by the applicable laws and regulations to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.\nHistory —Mar. 30, 2011, No. 39, § 2.
