All cemeteries of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico which have been constructed with municipal funds, and are at present under the administrative direction and financial control of said corporations, shall be declared free for the inhumation or exhumation of human remains without religious restrictions of any kind, subject only to the regulations of public health and civil registry; Provided, That religious ceremonies of any kind are not prohibited in any cemetery.\nHistory —Jan. 30, 1901, p. 16, § 1.
