A public corporation is hereby created, as an instrumentality of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, under the name of Puerto Rico Health Insurance Administration. The Administration shall have existence in perpetuity with a juridical personality, independent and separate from any other entity, agency, department or instrumentality of the Government of Puerto Rico, and shall be governed by a Board of Directors.\nHistory —Sept. 7, 1993, No. 72, Art.
