For the sale or transfer in any manner of the controlled substances in stock, appertaining to a pharmacy or established business, authorized by law, and connected with the distribution or dispensing of controlled substances, the procedures set forth in the following subsections shall be observed.\n(a) The vendor shall notify the Secretary of Health of his purpose of selling and shall request authorization to transfer the stocks of controlled substances to the purchaser, including for such purpose, a sworn inventory of the substances to be transferred.\n(b) After the Secretary of Health has authorized the transfer, the delivery shall be made before an officer of the Department of Health duly authorized therefor, in accordance with the regulation approved by the Secretary of Health.\nHistory —June 23, 1971, No. 4, p. 526, § 309, eff. 180 days after June 23, 1971.
