Any person who uses the services of a person under 18 years of age in the transportation, manufacture, distribution, dispensing of any of the controlled substances comprised in this chapter, for unlawful purposes in accordance therewith, shall incur in a felony and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by twice the penalties provided in § 2401(b) of this title for an offense committed for the first time which involves the same controlled substance and the same classification in accordance with the schedule established by said § 2401(b); for the second and subsequent violations to this section, the person shall incur in a felony and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by triple the penalties provided in § 2401(b) of this title for a subsequent offense which involves the same controlled substance and the same classification in accordance with the schedule established by said § 2401(b).\nHistory —June 23, 1971, No. 4, p. 526, § 411; Apr. 17, 1972, No. 16, p. 30, § 1.
