Any individual or entity that uses the Registry information in a way that is contrary to the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, if convicted, shall be punished with a jail term not to exceed six (6) months or a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500), or both penalties at the court’s discretion.
