For the purposes of this chapter, all terms used to refer to a person or an office refers to both genders; the phrases and terms used shall have the following meaning:\n(a) Legislature. — Means the Legislature of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.\n(b) Center. — Means the Cancer Center of the University of Puerto Rico.\n(c) Executive Director. — Means the Executive Director of the Cancer Center of the University of Puerto Rico.\n(d) Governor. — Means the Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.\n(e) Board. — Means the Board of Directors of the Cancer Center of the University of Puerto Rico.\n(f) Act. — Means the law that created the Cancer Center of the University of Puerto Rico.\n(g) Memorandum of understanding. — Means the agreement of affiliation between the Center and the Dr. I.
