When the minor subject to involuntary admission leaves the institution without having been released, the director shall immediately notify a police officer so that he/she may be apprehended and returned to the institution. In addition, he/she shall notify the parent with patria potestas, or the legal guardian and the person who requested his/her admission.When a minor subject to voluntary admission leaves the institution without having been released, the director shall immediately notify the minor’s parent with patria potestas or the legal guardian.
