(a) From Fiscal Year 2009-2010 henceforth, an annual bonus shall be granted not to be less than one hundred sixty-five dollars ($165) or four percent (4%) of the worker’s annual income, whichever amount is greater, up to a maximum of two hundred thirty-five dollars ($235).(b) This bonus shall be paid annually to those agricultural workers who have worked in Puerto Rico for not less than two hundred (200) hours or whose income is not less than two hundred dollars ($200) for wages and supplementary payments earned in agricultural tasks performed in Puerto Rico, within the period of twelve months comprised from July 1 of each year until June 30 of the following year, except as hereinafter provided in § 510j of this title in regard to the payment of the first bonus.
