The Labor Union Services Bureau shall be directed by a Director who shall be appointed by the Secretary of Labor and Human Resources, pursuant to the Puerto Rico Personnel Act. The Director of the Bureau shall administer and direct the Bureau under the direction and supervision of the Secretary of Labor and Human Resources, and shall also act as Secretary of the Advisory Board to extend financial assistance to the labor unions.
