Any violation of the provisions of this chapter or of the rules and regulations promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Human Resources or the Secretary of the Treasury of Puerto Rico hereunder shall be a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500) or by jail for a maximum term of six (6) months, or both penalties, in the discretion of the court.The fines and costs imposed and collected shall be covered into the Chauffeurs and Other Employees Social Security Fund.
