The Municipal Finance Agency established by this chapter shall be a public corporation with legal personality separate and distinct from the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and its departments, agencies, corporations and public instrumentalities and its subsidiaries and of any of its other administrative subdivisions and its municipalities. Likewise, the debts, obligations, contracts, bonds, note receipts, expenses, accounts, funds, enterprises and properties of the Agency shall belong to the Agency and not to the departments, agencies, corporations and public instrumentalities and its subsidiaries or any other administrative subdivision and municipalities of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico nor of any of its officers and employees.
