Those municipal employees who, at the time of the creation of the Municipal Police Corps authorized in this chapter, are performing vigilance and security duties, shall comply with the eligibility and admission requirements in force for persons wishing to belong to the Corps, within the year following the approval of this act.\nHistory —May 12, 1977, No. 19, p. 33, § 18, renumbered as § 17 and amended on May 22, 1996, No. 45, § 17.
