Individual vacancies that arise among the members of the Legislature because of resignation, death, total and permanent disability, removal from office or impeachment, shall be filled according to the procedure established in this subtitle.\nAny person who is selected to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation, death, total or permanent disability, removal from office or impeachment of a municipal legislator, shall meet the eligibility requirements for the office as established in this subtitle.
