For purposes of §§ 5192–5200 of this title, the following terms and phrases shall have the meaning stated below:\n(a) Secretary of Agriculture.— Shall mean the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.\n(b) Land under intensive agricultural use.— Shall mean that land which is specified in §§ 5192–5200 of this title during the year they are cultivated using the technical recommendations promulgated for each crop.\n(c) Farmer.— Shall mean that natural or juridical person who operates one or more agricultural farms for profit.\n(d) Single crop farm.— Shall mean that specific area where only one product is sowed and cultivated.\n(e) Netting.— Shall mean interwoven thread devices used for the harvesting of coffee in the coffee plantation.\n(f) Farinaceous.— Shall mean any of the following products: sweet potatoes, yams, bananas, plantains, tanniers, cassava, apio and any others within that classification the planting of which the Secretary of Agriculture is interested in promoting.\n(g) Fruit.— Shall mean avocados, citrics, mangos and any others within that classification that the Secretary of Agriculture is interested in promoting its
