A municipal entity, independent and separate from any other agency or instrumentality of the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico named 'Municipal Revenues Collection Center' is hereby created. The Center is the fiscal services entity whose primary responsibility shall be to collect, receive and allocate the public funds arising from the sources indicated in this chapter and which correspond to the municipalities.
