Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter or the regulations approved by virtue thereof, except when the acts performed are punished by any other legal provision, shall incur a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished with a fine not greater than five hundred dollars ($500), or with imprisonment for a term not greater than six (6) months, or both, at the discretion of the court.\nHistory —Aug. 30, 1991, No. 80, § 21.
