Except otherwise provided through an ordinance or resolution, the bonds, notes and other instruments authorized pursuant to this chapter, shall be considered negotiable instruments pursuant to the general negotiable instruments act in effect at the time the ordinance or resolution is adopted.\nHistory —July 3, 1996, No. 64, § 15, renumbered as § 18 and amended on Aug. 12, 1997, No. 75, § 17.
