The bonds issued by the associations shall not constitute nor shall they be interpreted as a debt of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico nor of any of its political subdivisions, including its municipalities; nor the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or its political subdivisions, including its municipalities, be liable for the same, and said bonds shall be payable solely from those funds committed or pledged for their payment.\nThe associations shall not be deemed to be acting on behalf of or to have incurred any obligation whatsoever towards the holders of any debt of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or its municipalities.\nHistory —Aug. 8, 1998, No. 207, § 4.004, eff. 60 days after Aug. 8, 1998.
