The Commission may require any public service company or private carrier to make and keep a continuing detailed and exact record of all useful property used for the public service rendered thereby, and it may require, further, that the said public service company or private carrier keep its books, accounts, and records so as to at all times show the original cost of said physical property, as well as the reserves accumulated for paying for the withdrawal or replacement thereof.\nHistory —June 28, 1962, No. 109, p. 288, § 15, eff. 90 days after June 28, 1962.
