In the exercise of the duties and powers hereby imposed and conferred upon the Commission, the latter may hold public hearings, summon witnesses, issue orders, resolutions and decisions and carry out any other function of quasi-judicial nature that may be necessary to implement the provisions of this chapter, pursuant to the proceedings that the Commission is empowered to carry out under §§ 1001 et seq. of this title.\nHistory —June 8, 1972, No. 7, p. 353, § 9.
