Any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) or by imprisonment in jail for a term which shall not exceed six (6) months or both penalties in the discretion of the court.\nHistory —June 8, 1972, No. 7, p. 353, § 12.
