Upon the Commissioner’s order, any person in Puerto Rico who is the insured under any policy issued by an unauthorized insurer upon a subject of insurance resident, located, or to be performed in Puerto Rico at the time the policy was issued, shall produce for examination all policies and other documents evidencing and relating to the insurance, and shall disclose the amount of the gross premiums paid or agreed to be paid for the insurance, through whom the insurance was procured, and such other information relative to the placing of such insurance as may reasonably be required.\nFor each refusal to obey such order, such person shall, upon conviction, be subject to the penalty prescribed in § 117 of this title.\nHistory —Ins.
