If an annuity or pure endowment contract, other than a reversionary, survivorship or group annuity, is a participating contract, there shall be a provision that the insurer shall ascertain and apportion any divisible surplus accruing on the contract beginning not later than the end of the third policy year and annually thereafter.\nHistory —Ins.
