No person shall make, publish, or disseminate or aid, abet or encourage the making, publishing or dissemination of any information or statement which is false or maliciously critical of or derogatory to the financial condition of an insurer, and which is designed to injure in its reputation or business any insurer, or any domestic corporation or group being formed pursuant to this title for the purpose of becoming an insurer, or other person engaged in the insurance business.\nHistory —Ins.
