Any person who takes money corresponding to received or returned premiums in the course of the insurance business, as well as any sum of money from the payment of claims or benefits without being duly authorized therefor may be punished by an administrative fine pursuant to the provisions of § 2735 of this title.Any person who violates this provision shall incur a felony as provided under the Penal Code of Puerto Rico.
