After adoption of the resolutions required in § 2948 of this title, the Commissioner may suspend or revoke the insurer’s certificate of authority at such time as he deems advisable for the protection of the public and convenient to the orderly disposition of the insurer’s affairs. No such suspension or revocation shall be deemed to prevent the insurer from doing such things as may reasonably thereafter be necessary or convenient to the orderly and effective liquidation of its assets and disposition of its affairs.\nHistory —Ins.
