All the insurance cooperatives organized under this Code, shall be under obligation to set aside annually not less than one tenth (1/10) of one percent (1%) of the total volume of premiums paid for purposes of cooperative education. Provided, That the insurance cooperatives may contribute voluntarily to the League of Cooperatives of Puerto Rico a part of all their funds for educational purposes, in order that the latter may intensify the work on cooperative education.\nHistory —Ins.
