All the provisions of this Code not expressly excepted shall apply to insurance cooperatives to the extent they are applicable. In aspects of a cooperative nature not covered by this chapter, the first resort shall be the General Cooperative Associations Act, then the Savings and Credit Cooperatives Partnership Act, Cooperative Law, and last of all the Civil Code of Puerto Rico.\nHistory —Ins.
