(1) The license of a solicitor appointed by a producer shall cover only that kind or kinds of insurance that said producer may transact pursuant to his/her license.(2) A solicitor shall not have the power to bind an insurer regarding any risk or insurance contract, nor to countersign insurance contracts.(3) Any business transacted by a solicitor under his/her license shall be in the name and on the account of the producer by whom he/she is appointed and the producer shall be liable for all acts or omissions of the solicitor within the scope of such an appointment.
